Wraparound Care
Flexibility for Busy Families
As with many private schools, we want to provide flexibility for families who are making sacrifices to give their children the best educational experience. Each area of our school benefits from our wraparound care, both in and out of term time.
At Tockington Manor Nursery we do our best to provide flexible care for your children. We offer an early start at 7:30am with breakfast, and a late finish at 6:00pm including fun activities and a light tea.
A sleep room provides a quiet place where the children can take an afternoon nap if needed, and in each room there are soft cushioned spaces for curling up with a book.
The Nursery is run to coincide with the main school term. However during the school holidays, the Foundation Stage Holiday Club is available for all the Nursery children to attend. Based in the Nursery, the Holiday Club is planned around weekly themes.
Breakfast and Supper
We offer extended days that can start from as early as 7:45 am with breakfast, and finish as late as 6:30 pm with supper. This is included in the termly fee. It is always best to book breakfast and supper at least 24 hours in advance, but if your plans suddenly change please call us, we will always try to find a seat at the table for your child.
After school activities
We are very proud of the diverse and wide-ranging choice of activities available to the children. Clubs take place every day during break times and after school. Our current clubs include: Archery, Dance, Football, Spanish, Running, Cricket and Computing, among many others. Read more about our clubs here.
Both our Nursery and School provide Holiday Clubs outside of term time to help working parents. Additionally, during the Summer we run activity camps for older children which are slightly more challenging. Read more about our Holiday Clubs here.
