The TMS Board - Tockington Manor School

Many people describe a very particular feeling after their first encounter with our School and Nursery. There is a warmth and friendliness in our environment that makes them feel welcome and eager to return. The best way to understand what makes Tockington Manor School such a special place is to visit us.

How the Tockington Manor School Board works

We have a strong and active TMS Board, which replaced our Governing Body when we joined Clifton College Education Group in May 2024. The TMSB works in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team to determine the strategic direction of the school, set priorities for development and improvement and regularly visit the school to ensure the best learning outcomes and environment for each child.

The Board meets once a term and additionally if required. Three Committees, chaired by former TMS Governors, focusing on Safeguarding and Pastoral Care at TMS; TMS Education provision; and TMS Human Resource issues, and report directly to the TMSB.
