Facilities available at Tockington Manor
We are pleased to be able to offer some of our excellent facilities and parts of our 28-acre grounds out for hire. This includes a Cricket Pavillion, a heated indoor swimming pool and areas suitable for weddings and events, including catering.
The Cricket Pavilion is a beautiful, modern timber building with floor-to-ceiling windows providing views across the cricket pitch to open countryside. The pavilion has a fully fitted kitchen, male and female toilets and changing rooms with showers.
The main space is bright and airy and would be perfect for children’s parties on the weekends.
During the week the pavilion provides a tranquil space suitable for business planning meetings away from the office. Tables and chairs can be set up in your required formation and the kitchen facilities used for your own catering arrangements.

Our stunning heated indoor swimming pool is a much-loved asset of the school and we are keen for it to be used by the local community and nearby schools and clubs.
Our pool is available for hire by swimming clubs, schools and private groups.
Tockington Manor is a beautiful grade 2 listed property and has been home to the much-loved Tockington Manor School since 1947.
Steeped in history, William Fitz Osburn, Earl of Hereford, is the first recorded owner of Tockington Manor. It became crown property after he was killed in battle in 1070 and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. For the first 750 years or so years of its life the Manor was used as a home by its various owners and in 1836 it is thought the arboretum was planted. It was voluntarily converted into a hospital for the sick and wounded during World War 1 and was used by the R.A.F. in World War 2.
The Manor House will be exclusively yours for the day and evening to dress as you wish and really make your own. With a beautiful hallway and reception area, sweeping staircase, rooms with extensive views across the estate, and traditional dining hall with commercial kitchen attached, Tockington Manor School is the perfect venue to celebrate your wedding.
Outside there are picturesque gardens, a pond and photographic backdrops where you can create memories to treasure for years to come. We even have two ‘ha ha’s’, one to the rear giving uninterrupted views of one of the country’s largest privately owned arboretums containing many varieties of Oak and a rare golden Atlas Cedar, and one to the front disguising the view of the road.
Our caterers, Thomas Franks, will work with you to create the perfect menu for your event. Sample menus are available on request.
