What a full and fantastic Summer Term it has been! We will be sharing many of the highlights over the holidays when we have time to give them the space they deserve. We have ended today with a wonderful celebration of all our children's achievements at a very warm Speech Day under the marquee, including a heartfelt farewell to and from Mr Symonds.

Have you checked out our Prep Art Exhibition in the Common Room and Library? Tomorrow is your last day to see what Years 3 - 8 have been up to with Mrs Mockridge.
Browse Year 8's street art and clay gargoyles, or marvel at Year 6's Animal Eyes in watercolour and oil pastel. There are Tower Bridge drawings from Year 5 and some beautiful Monets from Year 3. Year 7 created fantastic stages in their set design works, while Year 4 built mini greenhouses and embraced Van Gogh's Blossom.

On Monday morning, Mme Gannon and the French Department treated our DELF candidates to a delicious picnic to celebrate their exams results. Tockington Manor School is proud to offer pupils the opportunity to gain the DELF Prim diploma, an internationally recognised French language qualification awarded by the French Ministry of Education.
We are incredibly proud of our 23 candidates from Years 5–7, who achieved an outstanding 91% average across three levels. Quel magnifique résultat ! Félicitations à tous!

We are looking forward to welcoming parents in this week to watch our swimming galas across various year groups! Swimming is one of our strong points at Tockington - we had 17 pupils qualify and compete at the National IAPS Finals in London earlier this month, across relays and individual events. Our results placed us in the top ten in the country so bring your autograph pens when you come to support them for House points today and tomorrow! 😉

Some of our musical students had the excellent opportunity of traveling to Clifton College on Friday, to capture a few pieces in the professional recording studio environment of their Joseph Cooper Music School. A number of the performers are currently on the music strand of our Pathway Programme for incoming Y7 & 8 and this was an excellent experience for them.
Our orchestra, featuring Grades 3-7 pupils, captured Blue Danube and Jupiter beautifully. The recording will also feature solo vocal performances and pieces on piano, violin and flute. Cool under pressure and on a very hot day, they did us proud and we look forward to hearing the final result! 👏🎶🎼😁

A round of applause for our Year 7 and 8 pupils who entertained parents, pupils and staff with their end-of-year performance of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe this week. A commanding performance from Connie as the White Witch brought Narnia to life, along with Aslan, the curious and adventurous children, and a bevvy of animal and fantasy creatures all playing their parts.
