Pupil's Work Examples
Nursery
Children may join the Nursery from the age of two and progress from part-time to full-time attendance by the age of four.
We believe that all children are individuals. We offer quality experiences, which are broad, balanced and child centred. We provide a welcoming, calm and caring environment where children are able to play, learn and develop at their own pace, make discoveries and choices for themselves and have exposure to a wide curriculum through the Early Years Foundation Stage.
A nurturing environment facilitates children’s learning and development offering both children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity. This stimulating and safe environment allows children to grow in confidence and self esteem whilst exploring new boundaries, opportunities and encouraging experimentation.
Tockington Manor’s Nursery school is run by well-qualified staff and is equipped with large toys, games, art facilities and an extensive outdoor play area.
We also offer an `Early Start` option with breakfast, together with an `After-Care` extension. During school holidays the Foundation Stage Holiday Club is open to children aged 2 and above.
