Times
Day children in the Upper School should arrive in good time for assembly which begins at 8.45 am, and ‘sign-in’ with the person on duty in the back lobby. If for any reason they arrive later, they should report to the house staff on duty or the office. Lower School children should be accompanied to their class at whatever time they arrive. Upper School children are free to be collected at 5.45 pm on weekdays (after they have done their prep) and the Lower School at 3.15 pm. The school transport leaves at 5.45 pm. There is school on Saturday for Years 5-8 but not for the Lower School classes and Years 3 and 4. There is no school transport on Saturday afternoons, when day children may be collected at 4.00 pm unless involved in a
match.
Upper School children are required to ‘sign-out’ when they leave school at the end of each day, although not until their parent/escort has arrived.
Matches
in all sports are played against other schools on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, which may entail children in the Upper School returning late to school from away fixtures. Parents and friends are welcome at all home matches but are advised to check beforehand that their child is playing, or in case of cancellation.
If the school is in session on Bank Holidays, all pupils are expected to attend and likewise on Sports Days, Carol Services and, for the Upper School, Speech Day, which are all important school occasions.
